Motorists tear up the grassy parts of pavements in Whitehills badly enough; you’d think they’d show some respect in the cemetery!
It’s a bit depressing. Some of the paths round the cemetery are very narrow and not originally intended for cars, so when two cars meet and need to pass one of them has to go on the grass, and this winter the turf is very fragile.
Still, I suppose the cemetery staff are experts at tearing up and reinstating grass.
